Last month concluded the end to a 28 year career at Catty Corporation for Basilio Castellanos – one of the longest tenured and most dedicated employees at Catty.  Basilio moved from Oaxaca, Mexico to Marengo, IL in 1981 and worked in agriculture for several years before joining the Catty Team as a slitter operator.

Basilio took to slitting naturally and quickly become one of our most skilled operators on the floor.  Over the years Basilio continued to perfect his craft and was promoted to lead slitter on his shift after becoming the go-to operator for difficult jobs that needed some extra ‘Basilio Magic’ to run well.  Basilio has retired back to his home country of Mexico where he plans to spend time with his family and play pool with his friends.

We once again thank you, Basilio, for all your time and dedication and we wish you the best as you start this next chapter of your life!
