Each year Catty Corporation reviews the performance of the operators and creates a ranking list based on the metrics posted throughout the year. In categories such as Estimated Feet Per Minute, Make-ready Hours, Overall equipment effectiveness, Run Hours, and Waste. These are a comparison of Targets and Actual, with the goals of each operator contributing above the Targets and directly contributing to the bottom line of the company. This allows everyone, to not only recognize their contribution but also identify with how they have contributed to the overall success of the business. We mirror the sports world in our data driven, performance based, reward, and recognition methodology. Today we honor our top performers.

Raul Chavez has been awarded Press Operator of the year. It was a very close race this year. Raul Chavez and Marco Ojeda were tied for the top Operator of 2022. OEE figures for each person were used in the tie breaker and Raul edged out Marco. Both these operators did this on our biggest press. That is quite an accomplishment. Congratulations to Raul Chavez for top Press Operator of the year 2022.

Chuck Bodner has had quite a run in, slitting as our Top Operator. This will be Chucks third year in a row with this honor. Chuck had a close competitor in Hector Gonzoles. Hector was right on his tail, but Chuck edged him out in the end. Chuck Bodner is our 2023 Slitting Operator of the Year. Congratulations Chuck.

Thank you, Hector and Marco, for a very strong showing in this area of honors. This group has made Catty proud with their solid contributions throughout the past year. Each of these individuals has displayed the workmanship, character, and work ethic that makes the culture at Catty great. Thank you all for a great 2022 and I look forward the 2023!

Both Operators will have their names added to the plaques in the plant where the history of this award is on display all year. Each was given an award signifying Catty Corporations top Press Operator of 2022 and Top Slitting Operator of 2022. Each was awarded a check of gratitude.
